You are going to think I am making this up, but I'm not. This was what the weather lady actually said during yesterday's morning forecast:
" We're headed for a high of 72 degrees today, but with a north wind this might still seem pretty chilly to some of you."
Are you serious? WHO? Who on earth thinks that 72 freaking degrees, IN DECEMBER, is chilly? People in Texas? Well, that figures.

Oh man, I was about to do a (pissy, of course) post on this. People are going mental at daycare about the kids having JACKETS and OH MY GOD and people 65 degree weather is not DANGEROUS! No one will be reporting to the emergency room with frostbite, jacket or no!
Id love to hear your pissy thoughts on this. You are much funnier than I. That sentence just stopped me in my tracks at its ludicrousness.
Hmmmm. Well when the temp drops and we have highs of 60's, people tend to break out sock hats and down-filled coats. Last week while at Wal Mart (yeah, that should explain it all), a girl was wearing short shorts- think Hooters, a tank top and knee high Uggs. It was 70. My Missouri mom cracks up when she hears our weather reports.
